Is internet making friendships or breakin????

Its true that through that we make a lot of friends on the net throug penpals and other sites. But don't u feel that the time that we spent with our friends is much less . I feel that cyber friends have a wave of uncertainity swinging b/n them as they still can't be 100% sure of each others identity.So i believe real life friends are much better..
